The Shins are back with a new album and a sold out tour as only befits a band so loved and enjoyed. After three albums of pure class though I suppose we shouldn’t get too carried away about this show, Mr. Shin himself, James Mercer did fire his old band in 2009 after all so it remains to be seen if the new kids have it on stage.
As a Shins fan the mixed reviews about this new album have stopped me rushing to listen to it but here’s Simple Song, the first off the new record, this one’s good:
